EBPI Complete Water Assessment Packages
Genotoxic Water Assessment
EBPI has developed packages to provide researchers, regulators, waste water management facilities and concerned homeowners with the means to easily and reliably screen water sources for the presence and quantity of compounds that cause genotoxic and mutagenic effects. Although legislative regulation is starting to recognize the importance and effectiveness of testing water for these important sub chronic end points, we believe that our products provide proactive solutions for industrial professionals and everyday citizens to act ahead of the curve and test their own water. Many regulatory agencies have publicly endorsed the need to test for sub chronic and mixture effects which is beyond the analytical methods currently in place (COHIBA, OSPAR). Traditional analytical measurements do not account for synergistic effects from chemical mixtures and new research has highlighted the overabundance of uncharacterized chemical compounds being introduced into our water systems which easily overwhelm the capabilities of current methods in effective monitoring systems. EBPI is committed to providing tools necessary for the job and will tailor analyses to fit all budgets. Our tests systems analyze the effects from complex compound mixtures of disinfection byproducts (DPBs), pharmaceutical metabolites or natural resource contamination on water quality after treatment methods.
We offer a number of services to test your water samples for genotoxicity and mutagenicity. Depending on the source and the information required, we will customize these service packages to suit your budget. Send us your water samples according to our submission guidelines and our laboratory will rapidly analyze your samples and provide you with a detailed report containing the results and interpretation from our team of professional toxicologists.
